ASIS International ( www.asisonline.org) is the biggest organization for security professionals worldwide, with over 36.000 members spread across the globe and over 200 national reference points ( referred to as “ Chapters”) and around 80 full time employees working at the head quarters.

ASIS  was founded in 1995 and it groups security managers, security consultants, investigators, government bodies as well as non government bodies.
ASIS, whose prime objective is to increase the level of professional performance of the security experts, promotes training courses and training programmes, it produces training materials for the security field and it organizes seminars and conventions, amongst the  many others, the global and the European ones.

ASIS works towards giving the right value and towards supporting the role of security in the productive world, in the media, in the government bodies and in the public in general. Its also wishes to develop a culture of cooperation between public and private in the field of security. It publishes and distributes “Security Management”, the monthly publication which is used as a reference point in the international arena.

--CPP(Certified Protection Professional)-a Certification for Security Manager

--PCI(Professional Certified Investigator)-a Certification for Private Investigators

--PSP(Physical Security Professional)-a Certification for experts in physical security-protection, alarm systems and security technologies
